Built in 1926, the house was originally the home of the pioneering grazing family, the Katers, and its charm has been retained in the tasteful decoration. With only 43 rooms, the ambience is still that of a refined country estate.

Savour the fresh local ingredients and the region's wines at the award winning Katers restaurant.   Enjoy a game of golf on the adjacent Scottish-style Mount Broughton golf course, a hit of tennis or a massage.  Explore the villages and countryside of the Southern Highlands or simply enjoy the feeling of being at home in your own country house.

In Peppers tradition, the décor is stylish, rich and full of character befitting its Southern Highlands location. Guests are encouraged to make themselves at home on the sofas of the comfortable reception rooms. In winter open fires burn in the baronial Great Hall, the music room and the lounge. In summer meals are served in the leafy courtyard, with drinks by the pool.

Accommodation is housed in the main house, in the adjacent garden wing and in self-contained cottages.
