Have a game of golf at the adjacent Mt Broughton Golf & Country Club. Capturing the essence of the Scottish Highlands, Mount Broughton Golf & Country Club is a naturally beautiful site and is reputedly one of the longest courses in Australia.

Swim in our outdoor pool.

Mountain biking
Take advantage of our complimentary mountain bikes. Cycle to the nearby villages of Sutton Forest or Exeter and explore the local antique shops.     

Play tennis
Have a game of tennis on one of our two courts. Peppers Manor House can supply you with rackets and tennis balls at no additional charge.     

Play volleyball, badminton, croquet or boules
Have a game of volleyball, badminton, croquet or boules in the tranquil gardens of the house.     

Be pampered
Have a massage or beauty treatment. Contact Peppers Manor House on 4868 2355 to book a treatment with our beauty therapist, Affinity.

Simply relax
Relax in our sitting room, on the terrace or by the fire in the Baronial Great Hall and enjoy the feeling of being at home in your own country house.     

Horse riding
The Highlands Equestrian Centre is located five minutes from the Manor House. One and two hour horse rides are available. Phone 4868 2584 to book.


Wine tasting
The Southern Highlands is Australia's up and coming cool climate wine region. There are a number of stunning wineries in the area, including the Eling Forrest Vineyard and the Joadja Vineyard.

Trout fishing
Go fishing at the Kangaroo Valley River.

Bush walking
See the dramatic Fitzroy Falls or Belmore Falls from a graded bushwalk trail.

Explore the surrounding area
The Southern Highlands are a cool climate retreat with rambling homesteads and colonial mansions only 90 minutes drive south west of Sydney. History is alive in places such as Berrima, Bowral and Mittagong

Browse the local antique shops
