With accommodation ranging from comfortable family units through to modern executive apartments, Tall Timbers is your oasis in this remote and exciting part of the world.

The vast hardwood forests of the far North West of Tasmania provide the theme to Tall Timbers. The imposing entrance constructed of solid Tasmanian blackwood posts and celery-top pine beams, shelters the magnificent foyer which features a superb selection of native Tasmanian timbers.

There is room to move on this beautiful retreat situated on 65 hectares of rural land. Take a stroll around the grounds or have a picnic in the landscaped gardens next to the meandering streams.?

Tall Timbers has everything for the discerning traveller including a well appointed gym, indoor heated swimming pool and spa, tennis courts, two bars and the famous Tall Timbers Kauri Bistro featuring a menu that celebrates Tasmanian produce complemented by a well stocked wine cellar and a large range of Australian beers.

Tall Timbers also provides conference and meeting facilities, the conference room seating up to 300 people whilst 'Greys Function Room' can cater for up to 40 guests.

Business facilities are available and tours and other activities can be arranged for delegates.

While most visitors will want to explore on their own, Tall Timbers operates a unique experience for its guests and visitors to the region by providing the opportunity for the adventurous to experience full-day guided tours of the 'Tarkine Wilderness' four-wheel drive vehicle.? All units are complemented by full ensuite facilities. Ample free parking is provided outside each unit. A guest laundry is conveniently located to cater for visitors requirements.

Cabin style rooms with tea and coffee making facilities, room service menu, mini-bar, ISD/STD Direct Dial Telephones and in-house movies.? Picnic hampers and BBQ packs are also available. Non-smoking rooms are available for the comfort of our guests.

Single Unit - 1 King Size bed
Double/Single Unit - 1 Single bed and 1 Queen bed
Twin Unit - 2 Single beds
Triple Unit - 3 Single beds

Disabled Unit is fitted with full disabled facilities as per the Australian Standards 1998. It offers tea and coffee making facilities, room service menu, mini-bar, ISD/STD Direct Dial Telephones and in-house movies. Picnic hampers and BBQ packs are also available.

All of these rooms are non-smoking for the comfort of our guests.

Each self-contained apartment may be configured as a 1 Bedroom (2 persons) with 1 Queen bed or 2 Bedroom (3-5 persons) with 1 Single bed and 1 Set Bunks. Roll away bed is also available

Modern apartments are situated alongside? tranquil lakeside setting complete with resident ducks.

The Executive apartments feature a large corner spa bath and king size bed.

The two-bedroom apartments feature an additional bathroom for convenience of guests travelling together. Configured as 1 x King Bed that splits, 1 x Queen Bed, 1 x Single Bed.
