Historic Colonial fishing Village:
Stanley was first colonised by the English in the 1880's. It still maintains many of the Inns, churches and homesteads from that era. It has been and still is one of Tasmania's main fishing ports.

This grand Georgian homestead was built to house the director of the Van Diemans land company, and is now open to the public.
