Day 1. Arrive Adelaide, Pt Lincoln
Travel to the port of Wallaroo and enjoy a leisurely ferry ride across Spencer Gulf to Lucky Bay. At Port Lincoln, you'll be taken on a locally-guided walking tour of the marina. Your next adventure today will be a unique cruise across the bay to a tuna farm. Hand feed the fish and observe them from the glass viewing area. This evening, enjoy a delicious Welcome Dinner with your group and Driver/Guide before settling into your accommodation.

Day 2. Lincoln National Park
This morning, take a tour of Lincoln National Park, a rugged peninsula of cliffs, sand dunes, sheltered bays and sandy beaches. Unique geological features have evolved here, including the vast Sleaford-Wanna dune system, offshore islands, and the wilderness of Memory Cove. The region is also rich in Aboriginal and European cultural history. Protecting 31,531 hectares of coastal vegetation on the lower Eyre Peninsula, the park hosts widely diverse landscapes, from undulating limestone hills and vast expanses of mallee woodland to sheltered coves, isolated beaches and rock outcrops, all of which can be explored by foot or vehicle. Spot koalas lazing in the trees at Mikkira Station and Koala Park, which you can explore independently. Perhaps stroll over to the restored homestead of 1842, or try some birdwatching in the bushlands.

Day 3. Coffin Bay, Baird Bay Eco Cruise, Streaky Bay
Today, set out for Baird Bay, calling in at beautiful Coffin Bay en route. This astounding national park comprises a diversity of litoral landscapes, from high windswept cliffs and crashing waves to sheltered pristine bays. The estuary of Coffin Bay itself boasts many spectacular beaches including Long Beach, Seven Mile Beach, Sensation Beach and Farm Beach, each a huge expanse of pristine beach offering fantastic vistas. This afternoon, join a Baird Bay eco cruise. Watch resident colonies of sea lions and dolphins as they forage for food, relax in the lapping waves or try to engage you in play. You'll also have the opportunity to swim with the sea lions (at own expense).

Day 4. Skirt the Gawler Ranges, Port Augusta
From Streaky Bay, head onto the Eyre Highway this morning. Observe incredible rock formations as you skirt the Gawler Ranges, formed over 1500 million years during a period of dramatic volcanic activity. The ranges were named by the explorer Edward John Eyre after the Governor of South Australia, George Gawler. It was on this famous 1839 adventure that Eyre made the first discovery of South Australias floral emblem, the Sturt Desert Pea. With around 140 species of bird currently calling the national park home, it's a fascinating place to see. Look out for emus and Major Mitchell cockatoos. Continue your journey to Port Augusta, the Crossroads of Australia, located at the head of Spencer Gulf. Off to the west and south-west of this gateway to the outback lie a range of hills, formerly the territory of the Nukunu people, while bracketing the town on the north-west are two magnificent flat-topped mounts.

Day 5. Wadlata Outback Centre, Arkaroola
This morning, take a journey back in time at the Wadlata Outback Centre for an insight into the history of the South Australian Outback. The centre features attractions such as a multi-award winning theatrical experience which brings the past to life on a journey through Flinders Ranges and South Australia's outback. The centre's 'Tunnel of Time' offers a vast array of interactive exhibits and films, while its setting offers all the natural treasures of the area, from wild scenery to birdlife. Next, travel through to Arkaroola, a geological wonderland located in the Gammon Ranges. Here you'll settle in to your accommodation at Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary, an eco award-winning resort serving as the perfect base from which to explore the beautiful surrounds. The resort offers facilities including a heated swimming pool, choice of dining areas and an information centre run by knowledgeable, friendly staff.

Day 6. Ridgetop Tour, Wilpena
This morning you'll board a specially designed, open top 4WD vehicle for an unforgettable Ridgetop Tour at Arkaroola. Traverse the ruggedly beautiful terrain with an entertaining and knowledgeable guide, who will share knowledge of Arkaroola's 1600 million year geological history while expertly navigating the steep slopes and sharp ascents of this famous track. Then continue to Wilpena Pound. This ancient rocky outcrop is home to kangaroos, emus, echidnas, parrots and gallahs, as well as a vast array of striking plant life. You'll have a chance to explore their vibrantly coloured habitat over the next two days while based within the pound. Settle into your accommodation on the banks of Wilpena Creek amid truly stunning natural surrounds.

Day 7. Flinders Ranges Touring
This morning take a scenic drive through the Bunyeroo Valley. Along the Bunyeroo Valley Road, you'll notice the impressive razorback ridge and enjoy spectacular views of sweeping plains covered in native pine trees as well as the rugged gorges of the region. Then visit spectacular Brachina Gorge, an important refuge for the yellow-footed rock wallaby as well as many species of birds and reptiles. Learn about the formation of the ranges and the evolution of early life forms as you wander this breathtaking landscape. With the afternoon at leisure, perhaps take a walk into Wilpena Pound to explore the natural amphitheatre of mountains in the Flinders Ranges, or take a scenic flight over Wilpena Pound or Lake Eyre (own expense).

Day 8. Clare Valley, Adelaide
After breakfast, set out along the picturesque Moralana Scenic Route. Travel via the towns of Hawker, Wilmington and Melrose before stopping for lunch in beautiful Clare (own expense). Then continue to Adelaide Airport, where your tour concludes on arrival.
