A day trip to Lady Elliot Island departing Hervey Bay and Bundaberg.


DAY VISIT AND SCENIC FLIGHT - LADY ELLIOT ISLAND

Departs Hervey Bay and Bundaberg airports daily.

Your day starts with a scenic flight from Hervey Bay or Bundaberg. On the way you will take in the beauty of ocean and between June and November you will most likely see pods of humpback whales migrating along the coast.

You land on Lady Elliot Island where you will be greeted and given information on your day's activities. The order in which you undertake the activities may change as they are dependent upon the tides.

The island is a must for snorkellers. The reef surrounding the island generally makes the waters for snokelling smooth and ideal. Lessons, if necessary, will be provided.

The coral gardens surrounding the island are also a breeding and feeding area for the giant "kites of the reef" - manta rays. Many of our past guests have been fortunate to swim with these amazing creatures.

Hosted by our trained guides throughout the day, you will experience the best the reef has to offer before enjoying a delicious buffet lunch.

6 -7 Hours for you to explore the island and reef
Return Air Transfers
Guided Reef Walk Tour at low tide (tide dependent)
Glass Bottom Boat Tour and Guided Boat Snorkel Tour
Buffet Lunch (hot & cold buffet)
Fish Feeding in the lagoon fish pool
Use of Snorkelling Equipment (Mask, Snorkel, Fins)
Snorkelling lesson in the Resort Pool (if required)

Flight Departures:
Flights depart Hervey Bay and Bundaberg at approx 8:10am.
Day visit returns from Lady Elliot to Hervey Bay and Bundaberg at 4pm.
