From Hervey Bay you can access World Heritage listed Fraser Island and enjoy the naturally beautiful rainforests, pristine lakes and wildlife on 1, 2, or 3 day 4WD tours of this largest sand island in the world.  You can also see the island by hiring a four wheel drive vehicle yourself and seeing this  natural wonder at you own pace.

Hervey Bay is also the departure point to Lady Elliot Island where you can obtain accommodation right on the Great Barrier Reef where you can do a day trip or stay longer at the resort right on the water.

Hervey Bay is also famous for it's calm water and variety of water sports. Most of these activities are only a short distance to your hotel and resort accommodation.
