Misty Mountains Nature Retreat is a luxury eco resort. It is available for just 26 weeks of the year to help with the regeneration of the pristine environment

Misty Mountains Nature Retreat offers you and your partner a unique, private and luxury tropical experience. Privacy is a priority. The reatreat only have one couple booked for the entire retreat, unless otherwise requested. The retreat is situated in the heart of the famous Misty Mountains trail and all the major tourist attractions.

The retreat offers the "Blue Lagoon Villa", nestled around a 400sq metre relaxation pool surrounded by beautiful gardens. The stunning new "Glass Club" features your own private, art bar and lounge, a pool table, 180cm LCD screen and a hi tech lighting system.

A private helipad is also available, while the environmentally friendly Electric Club Car is also yours to explore the 200 acres of natural wonderland.

At the Misty Mountains Nature Retreat you also have a private meditation and massage area set above flowing streams and the rainforest.

Misty Mountains is an easy drive to the beautiful World Heritage Listed Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation National Park and renowned Port Douglas with its great array of international shopping, spectacular Mossman Gorge, and the scenic Atherton Tablelands overlooking the Coral Sea and dotted with amazing waterfalls.

In order to provide you and your partner utmost privacy we don't provide table-ready cuisine however if you want to dine in we will arrange food provisions upon request. Alternatively you might want to enjoy the multitude of restaurants and cafes within easy proximity to Misty Mountains that offer fresh tropical seafood and local fruits and produce that is guaranteed to delight the most discerning pallet.

Most guests prefer to buy their own food and beverages on their way to Misty Mountains, There are numerous local food producers that offer a variety of fresh, high quality produce - Atherton Tablelands meats, fresh seafood's, home grown tropical fruits and vegies, boutique dairy farms and local poultry.

At night the air will be filled with a symphony of beautiful frog calls in the rainforest and creeks.

The Blue Lagoon Villa features all the contemporary accommodation comforts including large plasma and cable TV, DVD, stereo, A/C, gas oven and cook top, coffee machine, dishwasher, Spa bath overlooking rainforest, Weber BBQ, swinging love chair, outdoor dining and a 180 degree deck.

The butterfly population in the Wet Tropics includes over 40 species, including the Hercules Moth, which is the largest moth in the world. You will experience the unique colouring of the Ulysses butterfly and the large Cairns Bird-Wing butterfly.

You will have the opportunity to photograph the rainforest flora, fauna and marine-life unique to this beautiful part of the World.

Misty Mountains Nature Retreat offers you and your partner a unique and romantic accommodation experience in the "Blue Lagoon" villa and guest suite.

The accommodation at the retreat combines the luxury features of a 5 star home, hotel or resort including Air Conditioning, fans, gas oven and cook top, coffee machine, Spa, large screen plasma, dishwasher, cable and digital TV, DVD, CD and iPod station, Weber BBQ, swinging love chair, fantasy lighting and a 180 degree veranda.

The guest suite is available on request if you are holidaying with another couple and features LCD flat screen remote control TV which pops up from the base of your red leather Queen bed, bar fridge, kitchenette with dishwasher, gas cook top & coffee machine and Air Conditioning and fans.
