Day 2. Kuranda, Cairns
Journey aboard the Kuranda Scenic Railway up to Rainforestation where you will see a performance by the Pamagirri Aboriginal Dancers. Later traverse the Kuranda Skyrail, and glide just metres above the rainforest canopy as you journey back to Cairns.

Day 3. Great Barrier Reef, Freedom of Choice Touring, Dine Around Dinner
Today choose from three different cruises and head out to the world-famous Heritage-listed Reef. Board the Wavepiercer, Wavedancer or the Silversonic and experience the magic of the Great Barrier Reef. Look out for the beautiful colours of the coral and the incredible array of fish and other marine life. Enjoy a Dine Around Dinner tonight.

Day 4. Atherton Tablelands, Dunk Island
Explore the lush Atherton Tablelands with its rich volcanic soil, high rainfall and spectacular waterfalls. Step aboard a wildlife cruise at Lake Barrine, a lake formed by volcanic processes and surrounded by lush rainforest. Afterwards, enjoy a short walk to beautiful Millaa Millaa Falls and marvel at the unusual Curtain Fig Tree. Wander the treetops during the Mamu Rainforest Canopy Walk, then, from Mission Beach, cruise to Dunk Island.

Day 5. At Leisure on Dunk Island
After a delicious breakfast, enjoy the entire day at leisure to explore Dunk Island, one of Australia's most beautiful tropical rainforest islands. Perhaps you could discover the vibrant marine wonders of the Great Barrier Reef (own expense). Day 6. Townsville, Airlie Beach, Hamilton Island
Leave Dunk Island and visit Townsville, the centre for marine research of the Great Barrier Reef. From Airlie Beach, cruise the scenic Whitsunday Passage to Hamilton Island, where you'll stay for two nights. Enjoy views of the azure ocean from your room and settle in for a two night stay.
