It is a brand new purpose built whale watching vessel built locally at a cost of $3 million.

The captain, Kerry is recognised as the only woman captain skippering a whale watching venture in the South Pacific Rim. Her crew are skilled, dedicated seamen who will assure you a pleasant and sound whale watching adventure.

Each year the magnificent southern humpback whales migrate to and from Antarctica.

As these leviathans of the deep make their way through our warm waters, they feed, mate and play in the clean, clear blue sea of Moreton Bay. Let us schedule a full day whale watching tour with coach transfer for you!

Intelligent and naturally curious mammals, the whales greet their visitors with playful behaviour that will both charm and inspire you. You’ll be struck by their magnificent grace as these gentle giants breach, blow and frolic only metres away!

The Vessel's  passenger comforts include:

    * Six viewing decks and large bow with surrounding decks for unobstructed viewing - no longer will you have to wrestle with other passengers to obtain the ultimate vantage point!
    * Floor to ceiling glass in air-conditioned cabins - staying inside will not hinder your viewing pleasure!
    * Comfortable seating along with her excellent sea keeping qualities makes travelling to and from the whales both safe and enjoyable.
    * Whale-friendly, low noise propellers minimize underwater noise, while electronically controlled engines reduce fuel usage and exhaust emissions making her environmentally friendly to all marine life.

We believe that by providing people with an opportunity to witness these amazing creatures first hand, not only do we put a lot of smiles on faces, but offer an increased awareness of the beauty of nature and the need to nurture our precious wildlife.

Whilst keeping a look out you're given an excellent commentary which provides educational information on these huge mammals.

Whale watching is hungry work, so, satisfaction of your palate is part of our service. The delicious morning tea consists of fresh baked muffins, tea and coffee.

At midday a cold meat and salad lunch will be served, followed by a fresh seasonal fruit-platter for afternoon tea, this goes down a treat.

We also have licensed bar with snacks and drinks available at lounge prices. Souvenirs and merchandise are also displayed and are available for purchase.

We offer a pick-up service from the Brisbane Central Business District, hotels and accommodation houses.

DEPARTURE DETAILS
Boarding commences at 9.30am for a 10.00am departure from the Redcliffe jetty, Anzac Ave returning at approx. 3.00pm.

Coach Transfers from most accommodation houses:

    Ex Brisbane: between 8.15am and 8.45am
    Ex Gold Coast: between 7.15am and 7.45am
    Ex Sunshine Coast: between 7.45am and 8.15am

Special attention has been paid to the comfort of passengers particularly with regard to vertical motion. Her design is such that it will maximize observation of the whales allowing unobstructed views. The vessel is designed for maximum comfort, safety and stability.
