Spicers Peak Lodge offers luxury accommodation and a fine food and wine experience.
The architecturally stunning lodge sits on top of a mountain and offers expansive views of the surrounding area. Peppers Spicers Peak Lodge Scenic Rim is the perfect romantic or indulgent weekend away. Built in the style of a mountain lodge with high ceilings, fireplaces, rich timber fittings and stylish decor, the lodge offers a secluded boutique retreat away from the pressures of modern life.
Taking its inspiration from the pristine high country setting, the lodge has been created with its natural environment in mind. The warm, muted colours used in the interiors - charcoal, chocolate, caramel and linen - echo the natural materials - stone, timber, tin and glass on the outside.
Inside the main building there is a refreshing sense of space with high ceilings and plenty of public areas for relaxing, including lounges, dining areas and a library. Spicers Peak Lodge is the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of modern day pressures - you will be instantly relaxed amid the rich atmosphere of Spicers Peak lodge Scenic Rim with its classic yet contemporary style.
By day enjoy bushwalking, mountain bikes and four wheel drive tours of the area, or be pampered with a massage, followed by a dip in the pool or a game of tennis. By night sample gourmet food and wine, relax by the fire or take in the brilliance of stars in clear mountain skies.
With only 10 suites, Spicers Peak Lodge offers an intimate and relaxing accommodation experience in one of South East Queensland's most beautiful wilderness areas.
THINGS TO DO ON-SITE
There are a multitude of things to do at Spicers Peak Lodge. By day you could enjoy bushwalking, wine tasting or mountain biking.
Have a game of tennis, followed by a relaxing massage or cool off with a dip in the swimming pool.
By night sample fine food and wine, relax by the fire or do some star gazing in the clear mountain skies.

The Granite Belt region is the 'Wine Capital' of Queensland and you'd be mad to miss tasting some of the renowned local wines. With more than 40 vineyards in the area, there's no doubt you'll find something you fancy. The Granite Belt region is also great for wine tasting and is the home of the Granite Belt Spring Wine Festival and the Australian Small Winemakers Show.
From Brisbane Airport: 1) Exit Brisbane Airport following the signs to the city. After 2 roundabouts, be in the left hand lane and turn on to the Gateway motorway (1) which leads to the Gold Coast. 2) Follow signs to Ipswich/Toowoomba, pass the toll. You will veer right to Ipswich/Toowoomba onto another toll road. Continue along and you will be on the Ipswich Motorway and pay another toll. 3) Soon after the toll you will merge with the Ipswich Highway and go past Goodna and Redbank. Stay in the left lane to turn onto the Cunningham Highway (15) at the 'To Warwick' sign. 4) Your destination is Cunninghams Gap which is the pass through the mountains. Drive through Aratula township and head up the mountain.
ATTENTION: DO NOT take Spicers Gap sign to left. 5) When you reach the top, continue for about 6kms, pass a service station on your left hand side. Take the next turn left into South Branch Rd. 6) Proceed up the hill and through the cattle grid. Continue along this road and turn left onto Gross Rd and then the next right onto Wilkinsons Rd which is gravelled, windy and steep in places. Proceed straight along and up the hill to the top (about 12kms). Drive with caution when the road is wet!
