Australian Pacific Touring Kakadu Jim Jim and Twin Falls
This tour offers two nights accommodation staying inside the World Heritage Kakadu National Park. Day one includes a spectacular Yellow Water Cruise with a local guide, day two the stunning waterfalls of Jim Jim and Twin Falls and day three the Aboriginal art sites of Ubirr.

Depart Darwin and venture into the vast and diverse landscape of Kakadu National Park. Stop to visit Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre to learn a little about the park, its history, flora, fauna and ancient culture. Continue to Kakadu's most famous wetland area, Yellow Water billabong for your guided cruise. As you cruise the tranquil waters in this picturesque setting your guide will provide details on the region's history, ecology and diverse flora and fauna. Keep watch for crocodiles and the famous Kakadu birds. Together with its sizeable crocodile population, Kakadu National Park is home to one-third of all Australian bird species, as well as one-third of all Top End plant life. Following lunch, travel to Nourlangie Rock to view galleries of ancient Aboriginal x-ray style artwork. As is evident from all the rock paintings, this has always been an area of great spiritual significance to local Aboriginal people. Lx1
Day 2. Jim Jim Falls, Twin FallsTravel by 4-wheel drive to the edge of the Arnhem Land escarpment and beautiful Jim Jim Falls, one of the largest waterfalls in the park. Take a bushwalk through the monsoonal rainforest surrounded by towering cliffs. Continue along the winding sand track to Twin Falls Gorge where there is time to explore this remote region. Lx1
Day 3.Ubirr Art Site, Bowali Visitor Centre, East Alligator River Cruise, DarwinToday there's time for an Arnhem Land flight (own expense). Travel to Ubirr rock art site before joining the Guluyambi Cruise on the East Alligator River. With special permission, take a short walk into Arnhem Land. Visit Bowali Visitor Centre. En route to Darwin, stop at Window on the Wetlands to enjoy a complimentary glass of wine while admiring views over the floodplains. Arrive in Darwin around 8.00 p.m. Lx1
