Itinerary

Day 1.
Ayers Rock Resort at Leisure
Two Night Stay: Ayers Rock Resort - Outback Pioneer Lodge (Budget, shared facilities), Outback Pioneer Hotel (Standard), Desert Gardens (First-Class), Sails in the Desert (Deluxe)

Arrive at Ayers Rock Airport and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy a leisurely afternoon exploring the resort's facilities.

Day 2.
Aboriginal Uluru Tour (Liru Walk), Sounds of Silence dinner

Enjoy sunrise at Uluru followed by breakfast at the Cultural Centre. Join local Aboriginal guides and a language interpreter for the Liru Walk, learning of the history of Uluru (Ayers Rock). See a demonstration of traditional Aboriginal bush skills. Enjoy the unique opportunity to immerse yourself in ancient Aboriginal culture. Shortly before sunset, journey into the desert where a didgeridoo welcome awaits you to commence the Sounds of Silence dinner. As the sun sinks behind the domes of Kata Tjuta (Olgas), enjoy a selection of fine beverages and sample delicious outback canapes. At sunset, feast on a gourmet barbecue then relax as an astronomer takes you on a guided tour of the stars. Bx1 Dx1

Day 3.
Uluru (Ayers Rock) Sunrise, Kata Tjuta (Olgas)

Rise early and enjoy a revitalising cup of tea or coffee with our compliments as you witness Uluru (Ayers Rock) at sunrise and see the desert come to life. Travel to the western section of Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park to the immense 36 rock domes of Kata Tjuta. These domes are believed to have once been a single rock many times the size of Uluru. Enjoy a guided walk into Walpa (Olga) Gorge. Marvel at the sheer walls that flank you as you enter the gorge. Learn of the domes' formation and of the wildlife of the region. Some of the plants you will see here are so rare that they are only found among these rocky domes. Keep an eye out for petroglyphs (stone carvings) that can be found on the floor of the gorge. Transfer to Ayers Rock Airport for flights after midday.
