Arrive at Ayers Rock Airport before 1.00 p.m. and be transferred to your hotel. This afternoon, visit the Cultural Centre and join the guided Mutitjulu and Mala walks. At sunset, stop to watch the magnificent changing colours of Uluru while enjoying a complimentary glass of wine.
Day 2. Sunrise, Cultural Centre, Liru Walk, Sounds of Silence dinnerRise early and return to Uluru to watch the sunrise before enjoying breakfast at the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. Then join Aboriginal guides and a language interpreter for the Liru Walk. Retrace the path of Aboriginal mythological ancestors and hear stories told by Uluru's traditional owners. Learn about Uluru's history and Aboriginal bush skills before returning to the Cultural Centre to wander around the displays. Kings Canyon, located on the western edge of the George Gill Ranges, is a huge formation of weathered rocks and beautiful waterholes. Choose from two guided walks. For the more energetic, the rim walk rewards you with stunning views of the canyon walls. Wander through the Lost City and down into a lushly vegetated valley to see the Garden of Eden. This afternoon travel to Alice Springs, stopping en route at Kings Creek Station.
Day 5. Alice SpringsEnjoy leisure time in 'The Alice' before transferring to the airport or railway station.
