Itinerary

Day 1: Alice Springs Uluru (Ayers Rock)
Depart Alice Springs at 7.30am. Travel through the West MacDonnell Ranges. Explore Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) and walk into Walpa Gorge, then watch sunset at Uluru (Ayers Rock) while enjoying a complimentary glass of wine and nibbles.
Hotel: Outback Pioneer Budget Rooms (lodge), Outback Pioneer Hotel (standard), Desert Gardens Hotel (superior) or Sails in the Desert Hotel (first class), Ayers Rock Resort.

Day 2: Uluru (Ayers Rock) Alice Springs
Rise early to view sunrise, climb Uluru and tour the base. Or join the Sunrise and Cultural Walk tour. Visit the Mutitjulu Waterhole, view Aboriginal rock paintings and learn about the area as your Guide points out native flora and explains the Aboriginal and European history of Uluru. Visit the Uluru -? Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. Return to Alice Springs, arriving at approximately 6.30pm.
