Arrive in Alice Springs by midday and be transferred to your hotel. This afternoon enjoy a town tour of 'The Alice'. Take in sights including the historic Old Telegraph Station and see the generally dry Todd River 'running' through the town. From atop Anzac Hill, take in panoramic views of the township and the rugged MacDonnell Ranges. Visit the School of the Air and the Royal Flying Doctor Service Base.

Depart Alice Springs and visit the Camel Farm to learn about these hardy animals. See the flat-topped Atila (Mt Conner) before arriving at Ayers Rock Resort. This afternoon visit the Cultural Centre and Maruku Arts and Craft Cooperative. Then join a guided walk to the waterhole and hunting ground of Mutitjulu. See ancient cave paintings and hear the legends of Kuniya Tjukurpa (Python Dreaming). Next learn of the geology and flora of Uluru on the guided Mala Walk, exploring Kantju Gorge. Early in the evening, enjoy a complimentary glass of wine while watching the setting sun cast Uluru in an array of colours.
Day 3. Uluru Sunrise, Kata Tjuta (Olgas), Resort at LeisureRise early to see Uluru at sunrise while enjoying a tea or coffee. As the sun rises over the desert, depart for Kata Tjuta. On arrival, join a guided walk along the natural creek bed, deep into Walpa (Olga) Gorge. Learn of the domes' formation and of the wildlife of the region.
