Day 1: Uluru (Ayers Rock)
On arrival at Ayers Rock Airport you
will be transferred to your hotel (flights
to arrive prior to 2.00pm). This evening
watch sunset at Uluru while enjoying
nibbles and a complimentary glass of
wine before continuing on to enjoy a
delicious barbecue dinner and stargazing
(weather permitting).
Accommodation: Outback Pioneer Budget

Desert Gardens Hotel (S) or Sails in the
Desert (F), Ayers Rock Resort, 2 nights. D
Day 2: Kata Tjuta (the Olgas)
This morning join the Uluru Sunrise,
Climb or Base Tour or the Uluru Sunrise
and Guided Cultural Walk. Both tours
include sunrise at Uluru. The Base Tour
and Guided Cultural Walk also include a
visit to Mutitjulu Waterhole and the Uluru
? Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. The first
option allows time for climbing, while the
second option includes a longer guided
walk at the base of Uluru (please specify
your tour preference at time of booking).
This afternoon tour to Kata Tjuta for a
guided walk to the Valley of the Winds
Lookout. View a majestic outback sunset
while enjoying a complimentary glass of
sparkling wine.
Day 3: Uluru (Ayers Rock) - Kings Canyon
This morning is at your leisure to continue
with touring or activities (own expense)
in and around the National Park and
Resort. In the afternoon travel through
spectacular desert scenery from Ayers
Rock Resort to Kings Canyon Resort.
Pass through Curtin Springs and view
Atila (Mt. Conner). Arrive at Kings Canyon
Resort before dusk. You may have time to
view the sunset behind Carmichael's Crag
to finish off the day.

Spa R ooms (F), Kings Canyon Resort.
Day 4: Kings Canyon - Alice Springs
This morning make the climb to the rim
of the Canyon, where you will be rewarded
with marvellous views of Watarrka.
National Park (for those with a good
level of fitness). Continue the 3 hour walk
around the canyon with your guide as
you hear and learn about the geology and
history of this amazing formation. Take a
rest and a moment to enjoy the tranquillity
of the 'Garden of Eden'. Alternatively, take
the more leisurely 1 hour walk along
the boulder-strewn canyon floor. Return
to Kings Canyon Resort for lunch (own
expense). There is time for an optional
scenic helicopter flight (own expense)
to view the canyon from the air. Travel
through beautiful desert landscapes from
Kings Canyon Resort to Alice Springs
by luxury coach. Stop at Mt. Ebenezer
Roadhouse for the opportunity to
purchase afternoon tea. Take a wander
through the Aboriginal Art Gallery to see
some locally made craft. Arrive in Alice
Springs at approximately 7.00pm.

Day 5: Depart Alice Springs
Your tour concludes this morning in
Alice Springs. If you wish to stay longer
in Alice Springs, there are a number of
sightseeing tours (own expense) available
to you, such as the Palm Valley 4WD
Safari. It will take you through the West
MacDonnell Ranges to Hermannsburg**,
an Aboriginal precinct which is renowned
for its art collection and the works of
Albert Namatjira. You'll travel down the
bed of the Finke River, one of the oldest
watercourses in the world, into Palm
Valley, see spectacular rock forms and
an oasis of rock pools and palm trees
and enjoy a picnic lunch in Finke Gorge
National Park.
