Day 1: Alice Springs
Tour the sights of 'The Alice' including the historic Telegraph Station. Visit the Royal Flying Doctor Service and the School of the Air. At the Alice Springs Reptile Centre you will see unique central Australian reptiles. Finish the day with panoramic views of Alice Springs and the ranges from the top of Anzac Hill. Passengers arriving from Adelaide on The Ghan commence this tour on arrival at Alice Springs train station.

Day 2: Kata Tjuta (the Olgas)
We visit a camel farm where there is time for a short camel ride (own expense). Later stop to view majestic Atila (Mt. Conner) before arriving at Ayers Rock Resort. Visit Kata Tjuta then travel to the Uluru sunset viewing area to watch sunset and the changing colours of Uluru while enjoying nibbles and a complimentary glass of wine.Accommodation: Outback Pioneer Budget Rooms (L), Outback Pioneer Hotel (R), Desert Gardens Hotel (F) or Sails in the Desert (S), Ayers Rock Resort, 2 nights.
Day 3: Uluru (Ayers Rock)
This morning join the Uluru Sunrise, Climb and Base Tour (Y18) or for the non-climbers, the Uluru Sunrise and Guided Cultural Walk (Y41). The first option allows time for climbing, while the second option includes a longer guided walk at the base of Uluru. See pages 12 & 13 for more itinerary details. This afternoon, enjoy time at your leisure.
Day 4: Kings Canyon - Alice Springs
Travel from Ayers Rock Resort to Kings Canyon Resort, stopping for breakfast at Kings Creek Station (own expense). Make the rocky climb to the rim of the canyon for marvellous views of Watarrka National Park. The climb may take up to 3 hours and is recommended only for those with a good level of fitness. Alternatively, you may wish to take a less strenuous walk to explore the boulder-strewn canyon floor. After lunch (own expense), we continue our journey to Alice Springs.

Day 5: Alice Springs
Your tour concludes today in Alice Springs. You may wish to book an Aboriginal Cultural Tour (own expense). The Ghan passengers can re-commence their train journey today.
