Highlights: - Alice Springs Desert Park - Valley of the Winds - Mutitjulu Waterhole - Kings Canyon
Day 1: Alice Springs
Travel west from Alice Springs following the spectacular West MacDonnell Ranges. Pass the John Flynn Memorial (founder of the Royal Flying Doctor Service). Our first stop is at Simpsons Gap with its beautiful red gums. Continue to Angkerle (Standley Chasm). A light lunch will be provided before you depart for Alice Springs Desert Park. Visit the Nocturnal House and witness free-flying birds of prey in the nature theatre at the Birds of Prey Presentation. Afterwards you will be transferred back to Alice Springs.

Day 2: Kata Tjuta (the Olgas)
Travel south from Alice Springs to Ayers Rock Resort, stopping at a camel farm for an optional camel ride (own expense). This afternoon tour to Kata Tjuta and walk to the Valley of the Winds lookout. View a magnificent outback sunset before travelling on to our exclusive venue to enjoy a delicious barbecue dinner and stargazing (weather permitting). Vegetarian meals are available upon request at time of booking. Accommodation: Outback Pioneer Budget Rooms (L), Outback Pioneer Hotel (R), Desert Gardens Hotel (F) or Sails in the Desert (S), Ayers Rock Resort, 2 nights. D
Day 3: Uluru (Ayers Rock)
This morning join the Uluru Sunrise, Climb and Base Tour (Y18) or for the non-climbers, the Uluru Sunrise and Guided Cultural Walk (Y41). Both tours include a visit to Mutitjulu Waterhole and the Uluru - Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. This evening view sunset at Uluru while enjoying nibbles and a complimentary glass of wine.
Day 4: Kings Canyon
An early start to travel to Kings Canyon, stopping on the way at Kings Creek Station for breakfast (own expense). Commence the climb at Kings Canyon with your Guide to be rewarded with spectacular views of Watarrka National Park from the top of the canyon. The climb takes 3 hours and is recommended for those with a good level of fitness. Alternatively, you may prefer to explore the boulder-strewn canyon floor. Return this evening to Ayers Rock Resort.
Departs: Daily 7.30am (Jun - Oct) and Mon, Tue, Fri & Sat 7.30am (Nov - May)
