Day 1: Uluru (Ayers Rock)
Travel from Alice Springs to Ayers Rock Resort stopping to view majestic Atila (Mt. Conner).
Watch a magnificent outback sunset at Uluru while enjoying a complimentary glass of wine before travelling to our exclusive venue for a delicious barbecue dinner and stargazing (weather permitting). D
Accommodation: Outback Pioneer Budget Rooms (B), Outback Pioneer Hotel (R), Desert Gardens Hotel (S) or Sails in the Desert (F), Ayers Rock Resort, 2 nights.
Day 2: Kata Tjuta (the Olgas)
This morning join the Uluru Sunrise, Climb or Base Tour (Y18) or the Uluru Sunrise and Guided Cultural Walk (Y41). Both tours include a visit to Mutitjulu Waterhole and the Uluru - Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. This afternoon tour to Kata Tjuta and enjoy a 2-3 hour walk to the Valley of the Winds lookout. View a majestic outback sunset with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine.
Day 3: Kings Canyon - Alice Springs
An early start should reward us with a magnificent desert sunrise en route to Kings Canyon. We drive through sand hill country towards Kings Creek Station for breakfast (own expense).
Continue to Watarrka National Park where you can make the rocky climb to the rim of the canyon to be rewarded with breathtaking views of the park. Or you may wish to explore the boulder-strewn canyon floor, an easier shady walk.
Stop at Kings Canyon Resort to purchase lunch (own expense) before returning to Alice Springs.
Departs: Daily 7.30am from Alice Springs
Concludes: 7.00pm approximately in Alice Springs
