Located just one and a half hours south of Sydney in the beautiful Illawarra, Novotel Wollongong Northbeach is one of New South Wales' most popular getaway and business venues. Situated opposite North Wollongong beach, the 4 1/2 star hotel boasts 204 accommodation rooms and spa suites featuring stunning ocean and mountain views. Travelling from Sydney: Drive out of Sydney along the F6 freeway, heading south, past Waterfall and Heathcote Continue on past the Bulli Pass exit, down the mountain, where the road then becomes Mt Ousley At the bottom of Mt Ousley, take the Wollongong exit, which will be to your left. 4. Follow the exit to the end of the road, where there will be a roundabout. There should be a McDonalds restaurant in front of you. Make a right hand turn at this roundabout Move into the left lane and continue through three sets of traffic lights, then make a left hand turn at the traffic lights into Bourke Street The Hotel is situated at the end of Bourke on the left. The entrance to our driveway and the carpark is also off Bourke Street

Windjammers Restaurant is located beach front with glorious views over North Wollongong Beach and the Pacific Ocean. Sun-seekers can gravitate to the outdoor terrace, or find a cooler spot inside with stunning ocean views through floor to ceiling glass walls. Guests can choose from the contemporary a la carte menu or the equally mesmerising buffet, where hidden delights bubble away in stainless steel vessels. The buffet offers an array of fresh local produce each day, but weekends see crabs, bugs, mussels and salmon for a seafood extravaganza. The a la carte offerings evolve twice a year, with recent menus boasting the likes of Lamb and Porcini Mushroom Risotto, Moroccan Lamb Rack on Smoked Eggplant Mash with Salsa Rossa and Raspberry & Frangelico Panacotta with Passionfruit Sauce.
