Itinerary
Day 1 Sat: Sydney - Darlington Point
Depart Sydney at 8.00am. Travel along the Hume Highway to Darlington Point. This evening enjoy a welcome drink with your crew and fellow travellers.

Day 2 Sun: Riverina
Continue across open plains, stopping in Mildura en route to Renmark.
Camp: Renmark. BD
Day 3 Mon: Barossa Valley
Travel through the Barossa Valley. Enjoy a tour and tasting at one of the local wineries before continuing to Adelaide. Clients joining this afternoon (Tour Code: CZDD) will be transferred from Adelaide Airport (flights anytime).

Day 4 Tue: Flinders Ranges
Depart Adelaide and travel through the Flinders Ranges to Wilpena Pound in the Flinders Ranges National Park.
Camp: Wilpena Pound. BLD
Day 5 Wed: Wilpena Pound
Enjoy a walk in and around Wilpena Pound, a remarkable natural amphitheatre covering nearly 8,000 hectares. Travel north through the remote towns of Leigh Creek and Lyndhurst to Marree (conditions permitting).

Day 6 Thu: Coober Pedy
Stop briefly at the southern end of Lake Eyre. Continue along the famous Oodnadatta Track to Coober Pedy, the Opal Capital! We'll enjoy an underground house/mine tour to discover how the locals live in this unique town.

Day 7 Fri: Uluru (Ayers Rock)
We cross the border into the Northern Territory en route to Uluru - Kata Tjuta National Park. This evening enjoy a complimentary glass of wine and nibbles as the sun sets over the western horizon and the evening sky brings out the many shades of colour for which Uluru is renowned. Don't forget your camera!

Day 8 Sat: Kata Tjuta (the Olgas)
This morning you may wish to join an early tour to view sunrise at Uluru. There is time to climb Uluru (optional), before a guided tour of the base. Walk into the Mutitjulu Waterhole and stop at the informative Uluru - Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. This afternoon visit dome-shaped red conglomerate rocks of Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) and walk through Walpa Gorge. The walking trail through the gorge follows the natural creek between two domes. An optional scenic flight over Uluru will also be available. BD
Day 9 Sun: Kings Canyon
Travel to Kings Canyon today. For the energetic, a guided climb to the rim of the canyon will be rewarded with magnificent views of Watarrka National Park. Or you may prefer to explore the boulder-strewn canyon floor, an easier walk. Continue to Kings Canyon Resort.

Day 10 Mon: Alice Springs
Visit the West MacDonnell Ranges, stopping at Simpsons Gap and Angkerle (Standley Chasm). On arrival in Alice Springs enjoy a short orientation tour of this unique town.

Day 11 Tue: Alice Springs -? Free Time
A free day to enjoy Alice Springs.
Tonight you may like to attend the Red Centre Dreaming Dinner and Show. B
Day 12 Wed: Tennant Creek
We depart Alice Springs and cross the Tropic of Capricorn. Explore mysterious Karlu Karlu (Devils Marbles). This afternoon continue to the gold mining town of Tennant Creek.

Day 13 Thu: Katherine
See the John Flynn Memorial at Three Ways then continue to Katherine and set up camp in Nitmiluk National Park.
Camp: Nitmiluk National Park. BLD
Day 14 Fri: Kakadu National Park
Enjoy a cruise through Katherine Gorge. Continue to Cooinda, situated deep in the heart of Kakadu National Park.
Camp: Kakadu National Park. BD
Day 15 Sat: Kakadu - Darwin
Cruise on Yellow Water Billabong. Visit Jabiru and the Bowali Visitor Centre. Travel to Ubirr and see ancient Aboriginal rock art. Later continue to tropical Darwin.

Day 16 Sun: Depart Darwin
You will be transferred to Darwin Airport to connect with your onward flight. B
