| Chalet Swisse Spa Retreat Batemans Bay Information Summary |
Town Centre Batemans Bay Batemans Bays centre is cute yet quite large for a bayside town. You can enjoy the tranqulity north of the main st over looking the ocean while you cruise a string of shops or you can have everything at your fingertips in the Stockland Shopping Plaza. The promenade on the Clyde River which runs along the back of Starfish Deli, Westpac Bank and Zorba Motel has lovely little and big jetties you can sit and relax on or throw a hook, line and sinker in. Batemans Bay is a terrific getaway, definatley worth atleast a weekend. Long Beach Just a couple of minutes north of the Batemans Bay bridge, is the very quiet beach of Long Beach. The southern end of the beach is "dog friendly". The beach itself is a very sedate location and not all that well populated. This is a major attraction of the beach- not too many users, vehicles etc. It is indeed a very well kept secret. There are many beachside accommodation places which are very reasonably priced. The headlands north and south of the beach, also provide quite extensive views and easy walks. Plenty of wildlife sightings / visitations are common - Wallabies and Kangaroos laze around very commonly. Long Beach is close enough to "The Bay" but far enough to be "heaven". Dog Friendly Beaches There are many dog friendly beaches in the Batemans Bay area and more information on these can be found by clicking the link Dive Sites - Batemans Bay There are many popular dive sites in and around the Batemans Bay.
