The resort boasts its own waterfront dining experience, Cuisine on Lake Crackenback Restaurant and Bar offering a regionally inspired a la carte menu. For those who prefer to stay in the comfort of their own apartment or chalet there is a takeaway service available, Cuisine @ Home.

Whether your stay is for a summer getaway with your loved one, family or friends or for snow sports in winter, a conference or wedding celebration, the resort's idyllic setting offers guests the feeling that time is plentiful.

During winter the resort offers guests close access to ski resorts Thredbo and Perisher Blue. Its location is 15 minutes drive from Thredbo along the Alpine Way and 800 meters to Bullock's Flat Ski Tube via the resorts own private driveway, then 15 minutes to Perisher Blue on the alpine railway. The resort also operates a complimentary shuttle bus service to Bullock's Flat Ski Tube.

Getting There

Lake Crackenback is an easy 2 hour drive from Canberra, a 5 hour drive from Sydney or 7 hours from Melbourne with half the distance on freeway and standard roads.

From Canberra follow the Monaro Highway to Cooma. Go straight through Cooma on the Snowy Mountains Highway to Jindabyne. Go straight through Jindabyne on the Kosciuszko Road for 5 kms. Turn left on the Alpine Way for 16 more kms and Lake Crackenback Resort will be on your right hand side.

By Air

Canberra Airport is a 2.5 hour drive from Lake Crackenback Resort and 40 minutes flight from Sydney. Shuttle services meet Sydney flights by arrangement.
