Booking Conditions carefully as they incorporate the basis upon
which bookings are accepted by Ozhorizons.
Responsibility
In producing this site, Ozhorizons has used information supplied
by the entities (Operators) providing the various goods and/or
services (Products). In supplying this information to you, Ozhorizons
is acting as the agent of such Operators. Irrespective of any
measures taken by Ozhorizons to ensure the information contained
in this site is accurate at the time of publication, Ozhorizons
does not accept any liability of whatever nature for the acts,
omissions, default, whether negligent or otherwise, of any service
providers in connection with your travel pursuant to a contract
between them and yourselves (which may be evidenced in writing
by the issue of a ticket, voucher, coupon or the like). We do
not accept any liability in contract or in tort (actionable
wrong) for any injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expenses
or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by any events
which are beyond our control, but not limited to war, civil
disturbances, fire, floods, acts of God, acts of Government
or of any other authorities, accident to or failure of machinery
or equipment or industrial action.
The standards of accommodation
and other services are based on various factors which are generally
accepted as indicative of a certain class, however, we do not
guarantee the standard, class, or fitness for purpose, of that
accommodation or service.
Ozhorizons does not control the
manner in which Products featured within this site are provided.
Ozhorizons disclaims and
will be exempt from liability for anything to do with the supply
of such Products. This includes liability (whether as a matter
of contract, tort, statute, restitution, or otherwise) for any
direct, indirect or consequential loss, liability, claim, cost,
expense, proceeding, demand, penalty, disappointment, death,
injury, illness, shock, inconvenience or delay. This limitation
of liability also applies irrespective of the cause, including
negligence of us or an Operator, withdrawal, cancellation or
failure to provide a Product, delay, any variation in the Product,
the provision of substitute Products or a change in the Operator.
Without limitation, we will not be responsible if the Product
is not available due to inclement weather conditions or other
Acts of God.

Prices and Conditions for
most operators
Prices and conditions are current
at the time of publication but are subject to change without
notice. Some Operators may impose conditions that vary from
the conditions stated in this site.
Prices listed in this site are
in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable, but
do not include transport from the client's home port to holiday
destination and return, items of a personal nature, meals, transfers
and existing or proposed taxes and government charges, unless
otherwise indicated.
Security Deposits and Final Payments
for most operators.
A minimum security deposit of
$160 per booking is required within 7 days of confirmation of
your client’s booking. Full payment of your holiday cost
must be made no later than 30 days prior to travel. With
bookings made less than 31 days prior to travel, but more than
7 days prior to travel, full payment of holiday cost must be
made within 48 hours of confirmation of your booking.
If the booking is made less than
8 days prior to travel, full payment of holiday cost is required
at the time the booking is confirmed. Please
ensure payments are made within the specified time limit. If
this does not happen, our system may cancel the booking without
notice or liability to you. Only upon payment of the full
cost of your holiday do you have a final booking with the Operator
of the relevant Product and at no time do you have a contract
with Ozhorizons.
Online Instant Bookings
Where bookings are made online by users who provide credit card details to facilitate a booking, the relative amount will be debited to the users credit card immediately the booking becomes confirmed. If the booking is advised as being "on request" no charges will be made to the users credit card until the booking is secure and becomes confirmed.
Amendment Fees
Any
amendment to a booking is subject to the approval of the relevant
Operator. Any approved change to your booking prior to, at or
after making final payment will incur an amendment fee of $50
in addition to any fees imposed by the Operator.
Late
Bookings
A fee of $20 will be charged for any late booking
which necessitates documents being forwarded by courier.
Cancellations and Refunds
A cancellation
fee may be charged if you cancel or terminate your holiday earlier
than expected, for whatever reason.
Bookings
cancelled prior to Final Payment:
There will be no refund
of the security deposit
Bookings cancelled after
final payment:
There will be no refund of the security
deposit, in addition to any fees imposed by the Operator, which
may be up to 100% of monies paid.
The following specific
conditions apply for Rail Adventures:
Prior to final
payment:
Your non refundable security deposit will be
forfeited.
After final payment:
Any cancellation
after final payment has been made will incur a cancellation
fee of 100%, unless the seat is resold. If the seat is resold,
payment will be refunded less the non refundable security deposit.
Children’s Prices
In most cases,
children’s prices for accommodation featured on this site refer
to children occupying the same room/unit with at least two adults
and using existing bedding. Additional charges will apply if
extra beds (including rollaway and cots) are required.
Bonds
Bonds or credit card imprints may
be required by some Tour Operators, Hire Operators and Accommodation
Operators providing a telephone, mini bar and/or other facilities
in the room. Other bonds may apply to certain product or at
certain times of the year.
Travel Insurance
Ozhorizons strongly recommends travel insurance options, as
it may protect you if you cancel your holiday due to unforeseen
circumstances.
Transfers and Tours
Some Accommodation Operators provide courtesy transfers from
airports/railway stations. It is essential that these transfers
are pre-booked.
Some Tour Operators provide complimentary
pick up and return to holiday accommodation. This service must
be confirmed with the Operator 24 hours prior to departure.
Payments
Credit
Cards accepted by Ozhorizons
are Bankcard, Mastercard and Visa and incur a 1% fee.
Clients
may direct credit funds into our bank account without fee.
Important note
Some tours require a minimum
number of passengers to operate. If minimum numbers are not
achieved tours may be cancelled at short notice. Additionally,
some Operators reserve the right to cancel departures for other
reasons. Ozhorizons will not be held liable for a service variation,
cancellation, delay or withdrawal, or an Operator's failure
to notify your client.
Travelling Without
Tickets
In the case of short notice bookings, we can
arrange for documents to be sent directly to the operator.
