Roll out shade awnings
are standard on all 3 Berth Cruiser campervans, 5 Berth
Traveller Motorhomes & 6 Berth Grand Tourer Motorhomes.
Colour
televisions are standard in all 3 Berth Cruiser campervans,
4 Berth Wanderer Motorhomes, 5 Berth Traveller Motorhomes
& 6 Berth Grand Tourer Motorhomes. The 6 Berth Grand
Tourer Motorhomes are also fitted with the additional feature
of a DVD player.
Bike
Racks can be fitted at an additional cost to 4 Berth
Wanderer Motorhomes, 5 Berth Traveller Motorhomes &
6 Berth Grand Tourer Motorhomes. Bike racks are subject
to availability and need to be booked in advance. Bike racks
will carry a maximum of 2 bicycles. Bicycles can also be
hired from Around Australia Motorhomes - please enquire.
Child
restraint points are fitted to all of our vehicles.
The 5 Berth Traveller & 6 Berth Grand Tourer are fitted
with 2 x child restraint points. Child seats (or baby seats)
and child booster seats can be hired at an additional charge
and must be booked in advance.

RELOCATION FEE:
Collection and/or return at a port other than
Brisbane/Sydney attracts a relocation fee. The total rental costs of any
motorcampers collected at a relocation port must be paid for in full, 21 days
prior to the commencement of the hire.
ONE WAY FEE One
way fee applies between cities: Brisbane/Cairns/Melbourne/Sydney - $275 Adelaide - $365 Perth-Darwin
- $600 (Ask for a quote if Alice Springs or Broome
are required).
HIRE PERIOD CALCULATION: Hire is calculated on a daily basis (not
24 hours) from 8.00am on the first day to 3.00pm on the last day. Vehicles must
be returned by 3.00pm. On
Saturdays and Sundays by appointment.
PICK-UP AND RETURN: Vehicles can be picked up from 8.30am to 4.00pm
and returned from 8.30am to 3.00pm. Saturday pick up from 8.30am to 11.00am and
returned by appointment. Sunday closed all day. Sunday pick-up or return
by prior arrangement (at the time of booking) only.
RENTAL PERIOD: Minimum reserved rentals for campervans and motorhomes is seven (7) days with
unlimited kilometers. Shorter five (5) day hires may be available (subject to
availability). Contact our office for five (5) day standby availability. One way
rentals are available, however a One Way Fee will apply. Minimum hire for
one way is seven (7) days.
DRIVER'S LICENCE: A current valid driver's licence must be produced
for anyone who intends to drive the vehicle. All overseas or International
licences are acceptable. Persons under 21 years are excluded under vehicles
insurance cover.
RENTAL
CHARGES: Charges are shown on the web page for each model. The day of
pick-up and the day of return are each counted as a full day, irrespective of
the time of day.
TAXES: All taxes are included in Daily Rental rate.
EXCHANGE RATE/CURRENCY VARIATIONS: All credit card
transactions are conducted in Australian Dollars. Due to exchange rate
fluctuations, there could be some variation in the amount refunded compared to
the amount initially charged
SUBSTITUTIONS: We
reserve the right to substitute a comparable or upgraded
vehicle if, for any reason, the nominated vehicle is
not available. If no vehicle acceptable to the hirer
is available, our liability is limited to refund of
the hirer monies paid for those days unavailable. In
the event of an accident or major mechanical failure,
where no other suitable vehicle is available , then
our liability is limited to the refund of hirer monies
paid for the days of hire remaining.
ON BOOKING OR REQUESTING INFORMATION,
PLEASE PROVIDE CLEARLY ANY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS YOU MAY HAVE.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: In the event of no alternative vehicle
being available or acceptable to the hirer, our liability is limited to a refund
of the hire charge, or in the case of mechanical failure, the remainder of the
hire period (see also Mechanical repairs).
INSURANCE: Subject to the terms of the Rental Agreement, cover is
offered for collision, fire and theft.
Insurance cover is compulsory.

Motor Camper Rentals offer 3 different Damage Liability
Options for you to choose from.
"Basic"
Damage Liability
Cost
- HT2 (Hi Top Campervan) = Included in your daily rental
rate. Cost - All other vans = Included in your daily
rental rate. Damage Liability (deductable) = AU$6000
(Under 25 yrs = AU$7000) This option does not
cover windscreen or tyre damage. Security Bond =
AU$6,000. (Under 25 yrs = AU$7,000) (This Security
Bond is banked in full).
Damage
Liability Reduction Option "A":
Cost
- HT2 (Hi Top Campervan) = $13 per day (maximum
per trip $1,250). Cost - All other vans = $26 per
day (maximum per trip $1,250). Damage Liability
(deductable) = AU$2,000 (Under 25 yrs = AU$3,000). This
option does not cover windscreen or tyre damage. Security
Bond = AU$2,000. (Under 25 yrs = AU$3,000) (Credit
Card Imprint only).
Damage
Liability Reduction Option"B": NOTE
: Option "B" is not available if any driver is
under 25 years of age.
Cost
- HT2 (Hi Top Campervan) = $19 per day (maximum
per trip $1800). Cost - All other vans = $39 per
day (maximum per trip $1,250). Damage Liability
(deductable) = AU$450 This option covers
1 windscreen & 2 damaged tyres per trip. Security
Bond = AU$450 (Credit Card Imprint only).
Please
choose your Damage Liability Option carefully as you cannot
alter your option after your hire commences.
These payments
cover one accident only - in the event of an accident the
Security Bond and additional Damage Liability payment will
be collected again for the balance of the rental days. The
loss or theft of personal belongings or damage sustained
to the vehicle's interior fittings or equipment are not
covered (except in the case of collision damage).
An additional
Excess applies to drivers aged 21 & 24 years ( see Security
Bond heading).
NOTE
: "Basic", "Option
A" and "Option B" does not cover, intentional,
neglectful or wilful damage, damage to the vehicles interior,
immersion of the vehicle in water or contact with salt water,
underbody damage, overhead damage, water damage, damage
and third party damage caused by or arising out of the vehicle's
use on an unsealed surface or any breach of the "Conditions
of Rental Agreement" as per your signed rental agreement.
The renter will be fully liable for all damage which
is not covered.
"Option
B" does cover 2 x tyre damage/replacements and 1 x
windscreen damage/replacement.
Personal
Belongings: These are not covered by insurance. You
should not leave valuables in your vehicle and you should
take out personal insurance.
Driver
Eligibility: Drivers over 21 years and under 75 years
are eligible for the above options.
SECURITY
BOND: A Security Bond is required at the time you
pick-up the vehicle. For the bond amount, see under "Insurance".
An additional $1000 is required if a driver is under 25.
It is included in your quoted price and is payable in full
when final payment is made. The Bond can be paid by cash,
travellers cheques, Mastercard or Visa Card and is fully
refunded when the vehicle is returned on time, undamaged,
refuelled and to the designated depot.
MAINTENANCE RESPONSIBILITY: The
customer is responsible for checking all fluid levels
at each refuelling. Refills of all fluid except petrol,
propane and diesel will be reimbursed at check-in upon
presentation of receipts. You are responsible for blowouts,
Flat or punctured tyres. Don't get the tube repaired
since that will not last. You must get a new tube. Never
drive with a flat tyre. Tyre replacement cost will only
be reimbursed in the manufacturer accepts a warranty
claim on the faulty tyre. If you need to replace tyres,
please ensure it is the same brand, size and ply rating
as the damaged tyre. Recap or remould tyres are not
acceptable. Tyres can blow out just through the extreme
heat on roads. Remember driving over 100km/h, will make
your tyres overheat. All fuel and gas are full at pick
up and must return the same. The air conditioner must
be switched off if the vehicle is stationary and the
engine is idling for prolonged periods. Otherwise, this
could damage the air conditioner. Our vehicles must
be serviced every 10,000 kilometers, so if you plan
to drive more than 5,000 kilometers you must tell us
so that we can arrange for the service of the motorhome
when it is due. This is carried out at our cost
MECHANICAL REPAIRS: In
the unlikely event of mechanical failure, Australia
Motor Camper Rentals will reimburse the hirer for all
authorised repairs provided receipts and invoices are
presented at the end of the hire. Refunds of hire charges
due to mechanical failure are restricted to full days
without use of the vehicle only, and then only at the
equivalent to the daily hire rate. If negligence or
abuse by the hirer results in damage to the mechanicals
or vehicle interior, the hirer will be held liable for
expenses incurred by his negligence. Vehicles are covered
by Auto Association Membership.
Authorisation
must first be obtained from Head Office if the repair is
more than $25 and authorisation must also be obtained before
tyres can be replaced. Replacement costs for up to 2 damaged
tyres will only be refunded if you have taken the Damage
Liability Reduction Option "B", unless caused
by normal wear.
The failure
of accessories are not considered a breakdown and no downtime
will be paid. No responsibility for accommodation charges,
meals, change of itinerary or out of pocket expenses resulting
from a breakdown or accident will be accepted.
In the
event of an accident, there is no refund for monies paid
for the unused portion of the rental.
TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS: Our
campervans and motorhomes can only be driven on sealed roads in all states of
Australia and cannot be driven on unsealed roads or tracks. Australia
Motor Camper Rentals reserves the right at its sole discretion to restrict vehicle
movements in certain areas due to adverse road or weather conditions. Driving
into water is prohibited.
INCLUDED IN YOUR HIRE: Your daily hire rate includes all stamp
duties and GST (Goods & Services Tax). Your vehicle is air conditioned and
has a radio and fuel and gas tanks are full and should be returned
full, or will be filled at the hirer's expense.
RESERVATIONS: We require a deposit of $500 at
time of booking. The balance is payable on the day of commencement of hire. This
deposit of $500 is applied to your rental. Collection other than from Brisbane
must be paid for in full, 21 days prior to the departure date.
CANCELLATIONS: The deposit of $500 is refundable up to 31 days prior
to collection of the vehicle less an administration fee of $75. Within 30 days prior
to pick up we retain $500, 7
days to day before pick-up, we retain 50% of the Gross
rental. If cancellation
on the day of pick up or no show, no refund is available.
PAYMENT: The total hire charge must be paid prior to your taking
delivery of the vehicle. Payment can be made by cash, bank cheque, travellers
cheque, Bankcard, Mastercard or Visa.
If a credit card is presented as payment, the Credit Card holder will be jointly
and severally liable as the customer.
PETS: Not allowed in our vehicles due to health regulations (guide
dogs excepted).
CLEANING: Vehicles must be returned with the interior clean and
tidy.
FLEET REPLACEMENT: Due to continual fleet replacement, some
specifications may vary.
