Day 1: Alice Springs:
Meet your Contiki crew this morning and enjoy a city sightseeing tour. Later we visit Simpson's Gap and the Alice Springs Desert Park. Hotel (D)
Day 2: Alice Springs to Uluru (Ayers Rock):
Free time this morning then cross the Finke River, the oldest river in the world, to a traditional roadhouse. We continue the scenic drive through the outback to Uluru and the Yulara Resort. Lodge (B)
Day 3: Uluru:
Up early to see the mixed colours of Uluru's sunrise, the adventurous will have time to walk around or climb the famous Rock. Later we visit Kata Tjuta (The Olgas). Lodge (B)
Day 4: Uluru to Kings Creek Station:
Visit Kings Creek Station with free time to experience a working camel station. Tonight, sleep under the stars in true outback style. Outback bush camp (B,D)
Day 5: Kings Creek Station to Alice Springs:
Today visit Kings Canyon with free time to explore the picturesque area. Later, we return to Alice Springs. Maybe join us for dinner tonight to try outback delicacies like crocodile and emu. Hotel (B)
Day 6: Alice Springs to Tennant Creek:
The morning is free in Alice before heading north across the Tropic of Capricorn with time at Ti Tree, Wycliffe Well and the Devils Marbles. Tonight stay in the 'true-blue' Aussie Outback town of Tennant Creek. Hotel (D)
Day 7: Tennant Creek to Katherine:
Today stop at Daly Waters, and later at Mataranka en-route to Katherine. Hotel (B)
Day 8: Katherine to Kakadu National Park:
First stop is Katherine Gorge with free time to appreciate this spectacular area. Then on to Kakadu National Park via Edith or Gunlom Falls. Lodge (B,D)
Day 9: Kakadu National Park:
Today you'll experience the vast landscape & wetlands of Kakadu. Lodge (B)
Day 10: Kakadu National Park to Darwin:
On to Darwin, the most northern city in Australia, for city sightseeing and time at leisure. Hotel (B)
Day 11: Darwin to Litchfield National Park:
Visit Litchfield National Park, with time to explore. Later say a final farewell as your tour ends upon our return to Darwin. (B)
