More choice, more freedom, more time ....
Camping outback style.
On an AAT Kings Camping Adventure you can experience the real outback without sacrificing comfort or healthy hearty cuisine.
During your adventure you will be escorted by an expert Tour Director, professional Tour Driver and experienced Safari Cook.
Each AAT Kings Camping Adventure caters to a Maximum of 39 passengers, allowing you to get to know your travelling
companions and make friends from across Australia and around the world. The small group size also ensures that your experienced
AAT Kings team can offer individual assistance and advice whenever required.
Nearly all meals are included on your Camping Adventure. Each day your experienced AAT Kings Safari Cook prepares
a variety of healthy and hearty meals for you to enjoy. Your day begins with a healthy breakfast with plenty to choose from.
At lunchtime we make the most of our spectacular surroundings and dine outdoors on sandwiches, salads or other picnic style
fare.
AAT Kings supplies you with all the best equipment for a comfortable camping holiday including; a sleeping bag; a Camping
Essentials Kit (both yours to keep) and a foam mattress.
During your Camping Adventure the Australian wilderness is right on your doorstep. Your home away from home will be one of
AAT King's custom designed safari tents, which stand 2.3 metres high and feature mosquito netting and window ventilation. You
will need to erect your own safari tent each evening, but our easy to assemble tents make setting up a simple task and your
expert AAT Kings team are always on hand to show you how.
Campsites are always the best available in the area and are chosen for their facilities such as showers, barbeques or kitchens
as well as their inherent natural beauty. Wilderness bush camps are usually part of the itinerary. These camps have basic
facilities, but give you a unique opportunity to experience the Aussie bush at its best.
You will travel by luxury air-conditioned coach with seatbelts, restroom, stereo sound system and water cooler. A specifically
designed safari trailer provides all the necessities and features a built-in cooker, refrigerator and water tanks.
Your experienced Tour Director, Specialist Tour Driver and Safari Cook will happily take care of most things, but your offers
of assistance around camp are always appreciated. Many people find helping out adds to the true camping experience and
is a great way to get to know fellow campers.
Weather in the Australian outback is unpredictable and temperatures can vary dramatically - the days may be hot but the
nights, particularly in the desert, can be very cold, so make sure you bring warm clothing, sun screen and sturdy footwear.
